I can not say enough good things about this place! The staff was great and so, so happy! Everyone working there was so nice and happy and it was just a great chill vibe in the entire place. The food was amazing and beautiful. I love how they are unique and unlike any other place around. The atmosphere inside is amazing with all the plants and books. Made me feel like I was eating at a friends house for dinner. The atmosphere is equally as amazing as they have cute little tables and a fun area for the kids to just be kids! Just amazing all around and highly recommend!!!
This spot's on the edge of the plaza, with a smooth ride in and parking.
We rolled in for a late lunch, catching the tail end with the joint mostly clearing out, leaving us as the solo dinner crew.
Still, a friendly server greeted us, suggesting indoor seating. The place isn't huge, and with its open kitchen, the tempting scents could distract, so keep that in mind.
We opted for an outdoor table, diving into the menu.
The Med fusion and classic Mediterranean dishes grabbed our attention. We kicked off with the hummus, and oh, my goodness! It was ridiculously tasty, smooth, and aromatic. If not for the main course already on the way, I'd have begged for seconds!
For brunch, I went with shrimp, and my hubby got the shakshuka. The shakshuka was a good size and looked great. The shrimp portion was modest, but the spice blend and Feta had my taste buds doing a happy dance!
Next time I'm in the area, definitely swinging by again! Thanks!
Excellent. I stopped for lunch since they close at 3 and reopen at 5. I enjoyed beef pita which is basically a fat hamburger in 1/2 pita shell. Loved the spices! It comes with a side salad. You can sit outside or inside. Unfortunately the outside view is of a parking lot.
Very quaint, very delicious! Stopped by here for lunch after the beach with my friends and we all really enjoyed our food. Full of flavor and felt healthy. I got the chicken shawarma pita which was delicious.. but my friend’s tumeric fried chicken sandwich was my favorite. Everyone was also so nice and helpful.
Looking forward to visit again!
We went to this place after a friend recommended it several times. We’re sure glad we listened. The food was amazing! The staff and owner, Florance, are top notch. I haven’t had good hummus like this since a business trip to Tel Aviv many years ago. I highly recommend trying this little gem. I had the special “Rainbow Bowl” and my fiancée the beef pitas. Very flavorful.
Oh don’t miss out on the homemade cookies. The one with the Goldfish in them sounds weird but is very delicious
We had the most amazing experience! The food was amazing as always (loved them since the food truck) and the service was beyond any measure of expectations. One person in our party of 3 is sadly unable to eat out due to Celiacs. The slightest bit of cross contamination could be devastating. We sat outside and ordered our drinks and food. He mentioned how he'd love to try a certain mixed drink but felt it may be too risky. Paola the server checked with the bar tender Maya. She was so knowledgeable, kind and considerate. They sanitized the glass, went an extra step to confirm the ingredients with the original source and completely made the drink from scratch. They omitted an ingredient that couldn't be confirmed GF and left the ice out because of the risk of cross contamination. Truly made our night! Florence checked in to make sure we were cared for, pleasant as always. There were tears and hugs of gratitude. They truly cared and were more than accommodating. I regret this review took longer to post than hoped. We love Florence and the Spice Boys! Highly recommended! The food is amazing as always!!! 🥰
We liked the food-truck so were excited to try the restaurant, especially given the reviews. Maybe our expectations were too high but honestly kinda disappointed because we really wanted to love it-
Pros: Atmosphere is phenomenal, lots of outdoor seating, great friendly service, the chicken shawarma salad was fresh, flavorful seasonings/sauces, interesting ingredients/relishes, a little on the pricey side but good-
Improvements: it was early in the day but believe it or not they were out of Rice! Not too mention no eggplant either (except the babaganoush) - how does a local Mediterranean restaurant not have rice on hand (worst case theres a Publix a few stores down, farmers market for local eggplant a mile away) - especially when it is a key ingredient in their bowl signature dishes? Also, the babaganoush wasn't to our liking - I'm fine that it didn't have the smoky flavor you would normally expect but it seemed thinned out with something, pretty bland, IDK-
Probably give it another try given the positives and want to support innovative local restaurants, while still providing balanced feedback - I'd say give it a try and decide for yourself!
I don't know where to start? They sell middle eastern food but it comes with Szechuan spice? So mix it with Chinese and some Indian type of spices? No this is nothing like middle eastern food at all. I don't think I need to get in detail …
